How does Gig Cover work?

Gig Cover provides a backup photographer or videographer for your event. If you can’t make it, we’ll pay $50 per hour up to 10 hours for your replacement, provided you’ve been a premium member for at least 6 months.

Who is eligible for Gig Cover?

Any premium member of Wedding Shootr who has been with us for at least 6 months is eligible for Gig Cover.

How do I find a replacement?

You can search for available photographers or videographers in your area through our network. Ensure they are a member of Da Shutter.Com or have them sign up before they replace you.

What is Gig Cover?

Gig Cover is designed to provide peace of mind for wedding and event photographers and videographers. If an emergency prevents you from attending a scheduled shoot, you can find a trusted replacement through our network. As long as you’ve been a premium member for at least 6 months, Da Shutter.Com will pay your replacement $50 per hour, up to 10 hours. Simply notify the wedding couple/client or event coordinator, get their agreement in writing using our agreement form. Next inform Da Shutter.Com of your replacement. After the event, ensure the replacement gets the hours form signed and submit it to us for payment processing. This service can be used once per calendar year.
